The Ark and Dublin Dance Festival Children's Season

The Ark and Dublin Dance Festival Children's Season opened last week with a series of sell out performances of MonSreS, from French dance company La Bazooka for schools and families.

This magical performance for children aged 4 to 7 was set in a circle of mirrors where reflections spread boundlessly revealing "visitors" that had previously been invisible. A section from the performance is available to view online for anyone who missed this fantastic show (click here).

Tomorrow The Ark welcomes Colin Dunne to our theatre for the first of two sell-out dance workshops. Children aged 8+ and their families are in for a treat as Colin leads them in this interactive workshop in Irish step dance techniques.

Thank you to all those who have joined us for this years Children's Season and for making it such a great success!

We're delighted to share a sample of these artworks in our Blog Art Gallery.

Tickets are still available for the final weekend of Pop-up Travels this Saturday and Sunday, and the creative fun continues with Animal Magic pop-up workshops from 25 May - 12 June.
