Masks! is coming to an end. . .
It's hard to believe that six weeks ago The Ark was putting the final touches to the summer exhibition Masks!

Since Martin Cullen T.D. opened the exhibition on 4 July, people of all ages, from all over Ireland and abroad, have come through the doors of The Ark to enjoy the exhibition, workshops and performances.

We had some great responses from those who visited the exhibition:

"Wonderful well designed exhibition informative & fascinating!"

"I think the masks were very detailed & beautiful."

"I loved the easy and clear exhibition."

The workshops were filled with children of all ages enjoying the opportunity to create their own spectacular masks.

"It was the best mask making workshop ever; I shall come again (and again and again)."

"I took part in the Dream Weavers it was super. I even took a place in Tribal Crests with my family and really enjoyed it."

The Armagh Rhymers performed in our theatre space on 27 July. They told wonderful stories, sung and danced, and encouraged children from the audience to perform with them on stage creating a wonderful atmosphere.

Although it is hard to believe Masks! is coming to an end this Sunday, there is a wonderful air of excitment as planning is well under way for a fantastic fun filled winter of culture.
