We're all really excited about our visual arts project Mandscape which opens tomorrow Tuesday 21 October. Our production team are hard at work getting the building ready for the exhibition and workshops, building three response walls where children will be able to interact with the exhibition and leave their mark on The Ark.

The school workshops are sold out but there are still places left in the public and family workshops which take place on the weekends and during the mid-term break. What a perfect way to spend a cold and wet autumn afternoon!

This year, Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival and The Ark teamed up once again to present Family Season 2009, and we were delighted to have a great mix of high quality international theatre for young people to enjoy.

The festival was a great success, with many performances sold out and really positive feedback received.

We were thrilled when The End of Everything Ever received a standing ovation after the performance on Friday evening!




It's hard to believe it's over already but we're now really looking forward to seeing the programme of events for 2009!
