Earth Explorers ends this weekend
The Ark's Summer Visual Arts Programme, Earth Explorers, draws to a close this weekend.

Since Earth Explorers began in May with visual arts workshops for schools, The Ark has welcomed children and their families from Ireland and abroad, to take part in a range of enjoyable, affordable and creative arts activities. It's been an exciting summer for us with workshops, summer schools, family workshops and much more! Our interactive free exhibition has been very popular with all ages - Malaika and her Dad certainly enjoyed adding to the Spinwheel exhibit and playing with the Flow exhibit and Ashleigh Downey, The Ark's Visual Arts Programmer!

Earth Explorers ends tomorrow, Saturday 15 August.

Growing Micro Gardens
One of the participating children in our Micro Gardens workshops left his garden with artist Kitty Rogers who has been looking after it ever since. As you can see from the photograph below, the micro garden has been growing...

Why not join us this weekend for our exciting Sun Shots workshops? You and your family can create your very own natural photographs without a camera.

The Garden Party also continues to grow - call our box office on 01.6707788 to book your place and make your own artistic contribution to our "garden."

Earth Explorers continues until 15 August.
