The Ark has a range of exciting events taking place tomorrow evening as part of Culture Night 2009.

Take part in visual arts workshops with professional artist, Gina Faustino who previously worked with The Ark during Earth Explorers. With poetic verse for your sail and a walnut shell for your hull, build a Poetry Ark and creatively set sail this Culture Night. The workshops last for 15 minutes and will commence at 5pm; 5.30pm; 6pm; 6.30pm and 7pm.

Award winning dance company junk ensemble will perform excerpts from their exciting dance piece – The Rain Party. Identical twins Megan and Jessica Kennedy dance in wellies, with umbrellas and their goldfish Charlie! Performances are 15 minutes long and will commence at 6.30pm; 7pm; 7.30pm; 8pm and 8.30pm.

Question the director! Eina McHugh, Director of The Ark will answer your questions and welcome your ideas about The Ark at 8pm and 9pm.

Enjoy the exhibition of group art works made by children during Earth Explorers, The Ark's Summer Visual Arts Programme. On display will be a range of art works inspired by themes of nature, many of which use recycled materials. The exhibition will be open from 5pm – 10pm.
